It's Thursday AGAIN?! (Thursday is Treat Day)

It really doesn't seem like a week since my last Treat Day, but I've made it through the majority of the week (and this week has been bizarrely hard - I'm really physically tired even though I'm quite mentally peppy) with just friday to go before the freedom of the weekend (and this weekend I really AM free, no visitors, just meeting a friend for lunch on saturday and a fun afternoon planned with them then NADA for the rest of the time).

So, because it's thursday I need to work out how I'm treating myself. It's rainy and a bit chilly so something bath-related sounds really good and I do have another facemask that I really ought to use before it becomes dried out and useless so I think I'll be doing much the same as last week although this week's mask isn't chocolate (boo!) and I think I'll add a hair mask into the mix (the rain's pushed the humidity right up and my hair looks like fuzzy straw).

Mmmh, I'm looking forward to it already (please, dear invisible, imaginary visitors, tell me how you're treating yourself this week).

Thinking Up a Treat (Thursdays are Treat Days)

Most of what I'm working towards (and blogging about) is really focussing on treating myself better - feeding me the right nutrients, giving my heart some exercise, giving my head a clean and organised place to rest - but it doesn't factor in anything special so to try and counter that Thursday is Treat Day (because I've nearly made it through the week but I've still got Friday to go!).

Last week's manicure was fun but I didn't remember to do it until quite late on in the evening and then I had to wait for it to dry so I could go to bed. I'm tired this week and I have a lot to get done in preparation for this week's visitors so I'm picking something a little less time intensive - a facemask in the bath. I have a lovely chocolate one waiting in a sachet in the bathroom cupboard (re-discovered when I decluttered that space and still good) and if I add some of my nearly-gone christmas bathbomb (I chop them up when I get them, one really doesn't need all of it and I find the more dilute version is better for my skin) I'll have a lovely-smelling treaty bathtime.

Thursday Treats

Most of what I'm working towards (and blogging about) is really focussing on treating myself better - feeding me the right nutrients, giving my heart some exercise, giving my head a clean and organised place to rest - but it doesn't factor in anything special so from now on Thursday is Treat Day (because I've nearly made it through the week but I've still got Friday to go!).

This week I'm going to give myself a manicure, base coat, top coat, and all. My nails are growing like weeds because of the weather so I might as well make them pretty!
